At Blooming Atelier, we carefully select premium, fresh blooms to ensure your arrangement arrives in its best possible condition. With a little care and attention, you can help extend their life and enjoy their beauty for longer.

Because flowers are a natural, delicate product, they can sometimes react to environmental conditions once delivered. That’s why we include care instructions with each order to help you get the most from your arrangement.

Caring for Bouquet Arrangements

​

• Use a clean vase and fill it about three-quarters full with fresh, cool water.

• Trim each stem at an angle (about 2cm) using sharp scissors or a clean knife.

• Remove any leaves that will sit below the waterline.

• Refresh the water daily, and clean the vase to avoid bacteria build-up.

• Keep flowers in a cool, shaded space, away from heaters, air conditioning, direct sunlight, or ripening fruit.

• Re-trim stems every two days to improve water uptake and longevity

Caring for Boxed Arrangements

​

If you’ve received one of our beautiful boxed arrangements, your flowers are arranged in floral foam that holds water and supports each stem. To keep them fresh and vibrant, follow these care tips:

Keep the Foam Hydrated

• Carefully pour a small amount of clean water into the center of the arrangement every 1–2 days.

• The foam should feel damp to the touch, not soggy. Avoid overwatering as this can lead to mould or stem rot

​

Keep your box in a cool, shaded area, away from direct sunlight, heaters, or air conditioners.

• Never leave your arrangement in a hot car or near windows with strong afternoon sun.
